Ramadan has now begun, and we would like to wish all our Muslim communities a peaceful and blessed month. As many people will be attending prayers late into the night and spending more time at local mosques, we want to reassure you that we are here to support you throughout Ramadan and beyond. Keeping Safe During Ramadan • Take extra care when travelling to and from mosques, especially after dark. • If you are attending late‑night prayers, consider walking with family or friends where possible. • Keep personal belongings secure and remain aware of your surroundings. Our Support to the Community • Your safety is our priority. Officers will be carrying out regular reassurance patrols around mosques and wider community areas. • We are continuing to work closely with mosque leaders and community partners to help ensure everyone feels safe and supported. • If you see officers on patrol, please feel comfortable speaking with us. We are here to listen, help, and support you however we can. Reporting Crime or Suspicious Activity • If something doesn’t feel right, please report it. Even small details can help keep the community safe. • Emergency (crime in progress or immediate danger): call 999 • Non‑emergency: call 101 or report online at www.met.police.uk • To stay anonymous: contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 We wish everyone observing a peaceful and blessed Ramadan.
